Our Commission Process
We believe in a commission process which provides guidance but allows your style and creativity to ultimately shine through!
Step 1: We ask for a single full or half-body character art with with a transparent background and provide a simple description of the subclass.
Once you confirm your interest and have a general idea of pricing, we’ll send you a a more detailed commission sheet that looks like this:
Step 2: After you review the commission sheet and provide final questions and pricing, we send a downpayment (half of the total price) via PayPal.
Step 3: Once you receive the downpayment, you begin and we wait with bated breath! You’re welcome to send progress updates (though it’s not required).
Step 4: Once you’re finished and we approve of the final piece, we send you the remaining downpayment and you send us the final files. You’re always welcome to add a background or create different variations, but it is not required!
Step 5: We add your art to Heroes Compendium content and post it on Instagram! Sometimes it is not for several weeks, but we always keep you in the loop.
Notes:
You’re welcome to post the piece on your social media anytime you’d like.
We use the art to make our content (digital PDFs, physical stickers, etc.) and design our pages (website, Instagram, Patreon), but we never resell your art individually or as part of a product which consists solely of art or give away the files to Patrons.
If we’re unsure if you’ll approve of how we use your art, we will ask! And we’re always open to feedback!
We tag and credit you everytime we use your art!
Your mental and physical health matters to us, so if you can’t make the art deadline, that’s okay! Just let us know as soon as you can. We won’t ask for a discount or begrudge your needs.
